Physical Placeable and Throwable Items by KuzQuality

Inventory items don't have to stay invisible inside a menu. This script turns them into physical props players can carry through the city, drop on the ground, load into a trunk, or throw. Cargo, drugs, weapons and scene props become something you can actually see during trafficking runs, traffic stops and stashes.

Define a model per item, fall back to shared models for the rest of the inventory, and let players interact with the prop directly.

Physical Placement

Players place items into the world as props instead of only dropping them. The script ships with its own placement menu on F4 by default, and you can wire a Place option into your inventory system if you prefer that flow.

Persistence Across Restarts

Placed items are saved and respawn after a server restart. Stashes, scene props, and cargo left on a curb stay where players put them instead of vanishing overnight.

Trunk Storage and Vehicle Attachment

Items can be loaded into any vehicle trunk. A custom algorithm predicts trunk dimensions so players can't cram unrealistic loads into a hatchback.

Items placed on vehicles stay attached while the vehicle is moving. If the vehicle flips, they fall out, which changes how chases and traffic stops actually look.

Framework and Inventory Compatibility

Supports ESX, QBCore, Qbox and ox_inventory. Optional integration with qb-target, qtarget and ox_target. Plug-and-play with Quasar qs-inventory, and framework and dependency code is editable for custom server setups.

ox_inventory Metadata

With ox_inventory, the script works with any framework and unlocks metadata handling:

  • Item metadata is saved when the item is placed
  • Metadata persists between server restarts
  • Only ox_inventory is required for this flow
  • Adding a placeable item to ox_inventory is straightforward

For non-ox_inventory setups, just add a Place option to your inventory.
