How CfxMods Handles Store Data

This notice covers information handled while you visit CfxMods, keep resources in a cart, complete a digital order, publish a review or send the team a question.

Who this notice refers to

CfxMods is the operator of this FiveM resource storefront. On this page, “we” and “our” refer to that operator. “You” refers to anyone browsing, purchasing, reviewing a resource or communicating with support.

Information that enters the storefront

The store collects information needed to run the service, protect it from misuse, deliver paid resources and answer customer requests.

Information submitted by you

  • Name and email used to associate a customer with an order, send a receipt and provide access to the purchased files.
  • Billing details such as a postal code when a chosen payment method needs them for address checks, fraud screening or tax treatment.
  • Support details placed in the contact form, which can include your server name, technical environment and message.
  • Review content you decide to publish, including a display name, optional server or role, star rating and written feedback.

Records created through use of the site

  • Connection and browser data, including an IP address, approximate location and user-agent recorded for operational security, fraud controls and troubleshooting.
  • Transaction history, including the order reference, resources ordered, value, currency, payment state and timestamps for status changes.
  • Pseudonymous interaction measurements from Microsoft Clarity, such as visited pages and session interactions used to identify navigation, display and performance issues.
  • Automated-abuse indicators evaluated by Cloudflare or Turnstile when you access a protected route or submit a form.

Sensitive payment credentials

The card interface is hosted by the payment provider. Card numbers, expiry dates, security codes and 3-D Secure credentials go to that provider and are not stored by CfxMods. The storefront receives a payment reference, its status and the non-sensitive transaction information required to complete the order.

What the information is used for

  • Building the order record, granting file access and sending messages required to fulfil the purchase.
  • Replying to questions about a listing, compatibility, installation, licensing, delivery or payment.
  • Finding suspicious transactions, automated form traffic, service abuse and attempted attacks.
  • Keeping accounting, tax and other records for the periods imposed by law.
  • Sending relevant release information or storefront announcements where allowed; marketing messages include an unsubscribe route.
  • Monitoring reliability and learning where visitors encounter broken, slow or confusing parts of the storefront.

CfxMods does not sell personal information about its customers. We do not use storefront records to construct advertising profiles that follow people across unrelated sites.

Identifiers kept in the browser

CfxMods and its service providers may place these site-related identifiers:

  • Guest-cart cookie, an HttpOnly identifier that lets the server retrieve selected resources for as long as 30 days.
  • Store-management session cookie, present only during authenticated administrative access.
  • Cloudflare identifiers used for traffic defence, bot detection and Turnstile challenges.
  • Microsoft Clarity identifiers that associate page views with a pseudonymous analytics session and remember site-specific settings.

If optional analytics storage is blocked, CfxMods receives less diagnostic context. The resource library remains available to browse.

Outside services involved in delivery

These providers receive only the information needed for their role in operating the store:

  • The payment provider hosts checkout fields and processes payment methods, transaction information and fraud indicators under its own terms.
  • Cloudflare supplies DNS, content delivery, attack protection, bot controls and the Turnstile service.
  • Microsoft Clarity supplies aggregated traffic measurements and pseudonymous session diagnostics.
  • Infrastructure and email providers run systems holding application records and transmit purchase and customer-support messages.

Retention periods

  • Orders and financial records are held for the duration required by accounting and tax rules, commonly no longer than seven years.
  • Support correspondence can remain in the support system for up to two years after the last reply, or longer while an unresolved dispute requires it.
  • Web and application logs ordinarily rotate within 30 days unless particular records must be retained for an ongoing security investigation.
  • Public reviews can remain alongside the relevant resource and may be removed after the reviewer makes a verified request.

Your data requests

The rights available depend on your location and governing law. Where applicable, you can ask CfxMods to:

  • confirm whether information associated with your email address is held;
  • fix inaccurate customer or communication details;
  • erase eligible data that CfxMods is not legally required to retain; or
  • export information you previously supplied to the storefront.

Send the request from the email connected to the relevant purchase or review using the contact form. Reasonable identity verification may be required. Our response target is 30 days.

International processing

The companies and infrastructure supporting CfxMods can process data in several jurisdictions. When the law requires a safeguard for a transfer outside the place where information originated, the relevant provider relies on contractual protections or an equivalent transfer mechanism.

Visitors under 16

CfxMods is not directed to children younger than 16 and does not knowingly solicit their personal information. If you believe a child supplied information to the store, contact us so the record can be investigated and deleted where appropriate.

Changes to this notice

The revision date at the top changes when this explanation is updated. When a significant revision affects existing customer data, CfxMods will give any additional notice required by applicable law.
